            BEST TENT EVER!

I have always wanted a USA made high quality canvas tent, my Traveler fits my want. It will be with me on every outdoor adventure moving forward. Thank you!

            Traveler pearl gray

Great product, excellent craftsmanship. They put little loops about 24" apart around the inside where the roof meets the walls, so you can hang string lights. You can set this tent up by yourself in about half an hour. Im sure it can be done even faster with practice. The design is pure genius and the people that build these are committed to quality and take pride in their work. Get yourself a good hammer so you don't mushroom the tent stakes, I recommend the snow peak copper faced hammer.

            Springbar Traveler - 5 stars - 1 disappointment

My Springbar Traveler is robust in design, made of rugged materials, handsome in appearance, easy enough to set up by myself, easy enough to enter and exit, roomy inside, has a rugged floor that’s a pleasing color and easy to keep clean, has plenty of screened windows for ventilation and viewing creation, is dry inside during rainstorms and is pretty much bug free as long as I keep the door closed - seems as though the only thing that gets in is what I bring in (including leaves and dirt on my footwear).

I wasn’t sure how I would get along with the doors one vertical zipper and two bottom horizontal zippers but after a little use found that it’s easy to use and a smart design. The window coverings are easy to open and close with their robust zippers and can be adjusted for maximum privacy or maximum ventilation and anything in between. The door screens and covering are also adjustable with their robust zippers and provides for maximum privacy or ventilation. The single entrance is a nice security feature - the only way in or out is through the door - no one can enter the tent by unzipping the windows from outside.

Purchasing the tent through the Springbar website was quick and easy, and delivery was prompt. Customer service was quick to respond, courteous and helpful before I purchased the Traveler and after.

I have one disappointment - the color of the tent. The websites color selection drop-down box listed four colors - I chose “Natural” as the picture presented was a light tan, sort of beige, a color that would blend nicely in a wooded area. The tent I received was a cream color, closer to white than beige and is highly visible, even in the dark. I spoke with customer services - I could return the tent in exchange for a different color but would have to pay shipping both ways because I had already set it up and it was a cosmetic issue. I reluctantly decided to keep the tent - I had already spent a lot of money on it and didn’t want to invest another hundred or so dollars to correct this disappointment. So my advice - don’t rely on the color provided by the Springbar Traveler drop down box photos - contact Springbar customer services to confirm the color they will be providing you.

In closing, I highly recommend a Springbar Traveler - an excellent tent made in America! Just be certain of the color before you order!

So far so good...after two weeks

Getting prodded for a review would make more sense a year later (not after two weeks) but I can do one now. We went camping for the first time in our new Traveler last weekend and we love this new tent. It is a huge upgrade in space for us, smells really nice, and is beautiful to look at. I won't say much on durability since it is so soon but I suspect it will last as long as any springbar has lasted which is a long time. I do need to invest in a hammer that can help pry the tent stakes out though. If only these tents still included one..

            Traveler tent

The tent is so awesome!! Well built in the US. I am glad I upgraded to the tent that was made in the US. It is bullet proof and confident it can handle most weather issues. It's fun to have and built to last! Thank you. Paul
