How we ship your order

Most orders for in-stock items will be shipped from Kirkham's Salt Lake City retail store by the end of the next business day following the day you place your order. Orders placed before 11 AM (Mountain Time) will often ship the same day. Our standard shipping is by UPS Ground Delivery to destinations within the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii shipments usually go by 3-day Air Service. In addition we offered express UPS shipping for orders up to 30 lbs. Express shipping options vary by geographic zones relative to Salt Lake City.

Currently, we do not process online orders for shipping outside of the United States. If you live outside the USA, please contact customer service to inquire about placing a phone order and for an estimate of shipping costs to your location.

Many of the items offered through our online store, including the larger Springbar tents and AAA wall tents, can be fairly large and heavy to ship. Most Springbar tents will require two packages, while wall tents with frames may require multiple packages. We try to ship to your area as inexpensively as possible. Shipping charges are cumulative based on the total weight of the items being shipped. Prior to finalizing your order, you can obtain an estimate of the total ground delivery charges for your order on your shopping cart page, once you have added at least one item to your cart.

Delivery time varies from one day to about a week, depending on the destination. After your order ships, you will receive a tracking number from the staff at Kirkham's Outdoor Products so that you may track your shipment in progress.

Tent Shipments in Multiple Packages: Most Springbar tents come in two packages, one containing the tent and stakes, the other containing the tent poles. We have seen several situations in the past few years where UPS has split the shipment and delivered these packages at different times. If you receive an incomplete shipment, you can quickly verify with UPS the expected time of delivery for the remaining package or packages.

Damaged Shipments: If you receive a shipment from us that is visibly damaged when it arrives at your door, the easiest and fastest way to resolve the problem is to not accept the delivery! In that case, the shipping company (typically UPS) will return to original item to us and we will issue a replacement shipment as soon as it is received on our end. This will get your replacement order to you much quicker than if we need to file a damage claim with the carrier.
