Modular Tents

The Springbar Expandable (Modular) System traces back to the late 1960s. Here a VW bug nestles beneath an early 811 "Leisure Port" canopy, one of the initial components of the modular system. The modular tents were also the first large Springbar tents to feature the new external frame design. By the early 1970s, nearly all Springbar canvas tents were repatterned with the more convenient external frame.
