Our luxurious 10'x14' Deluxe Screen Tents provide superior protection from rain, wind, mosquitoes and other insects as well as shade from the sun's rays. We offer two screen tent models, the Springbar Family Shade (without a floor, pictured at right) and the Springbar Family Room. (complete with sewn-in floor, featured here) Both screen tents have large triangular screen windows in the end panels and spacious screen doors that can be staked out as awnings. These versatile shelters are ideal for picnics or for a quick pitching shade tent on hot days when maximum ventilation is a must. And once you've added a deluxe screen tent to your Springbar® camping kit, you'll never want to leave home without it!
The Springbar “Family Shade” tent shown on this page comes without a floor so that it may be positioned over a picnic table. It replaces the discontinued Model 1227 screenhouse as an improved version that now includes a 10" vinyl-laminate sod cloth around the inside perimeter of the tent to create a ground barrier against unwanted bugs or drafts. We offer a custom fitted canvas tarp that can be placed inside over the sod cloth to create a temporary floor. (Note: The sod cloth is not designed to seal completely around the perimeter; small gaps may be present when used in conjunction with a tarp floor.)
Also new is the rope hem and steel stake loops that make the new Family Shade even easier to pitch as well as stronger and more durable than model it replaces. Both front and rear door openings on the Family Shade can be pitched out as wide awnings (poles, stakes and ropes for one awning are included, a kit for the second awning can be ordered as an option).
