The Springbar “Family Room” tent is the ultimate fast-pitching screen tent, complete with a sewn-in vinyl-laminate floor. Like it's sibling, the "Family Shade," this tent has a wide front opening and two triangular end-panel windows for cross-ventilation. Instead of the second rear opening on the Family Shade, the Family Room substitutes two rectangular full-height rear windows. Also unique to this model is the split front canopy/door, which can be set up in numerous configurations for maximum flexibility. Made of super-duty UV-resistant coated nylon oxford cloth with a 10 oz Sunforger® canvas roof, this screenhouse will provide years and years of family enjoyment, as a congregating space for your outdoor camp, playhouse for the kids, bug-free dining area or even as an overnight shelter in dry climates.
(Note: we don't recommend using any of our screen tents for regular overnight occupancy in wet or humid climates, due to potential condensation issues when sealed up for a long period of time in these conditions. For regular overnight camping in a broad range of weather conditions, our Springbar canvas tents are much more suitable, due to their greater breathability.)
